Damages' season one ended today and it was a good season ender. Frobisher had to hand over 94% of his net worth in the settlement case, Ellen was found not guilty of murder due to Patty helping her out, Patty gets the tape she wanted and turns it over to the DA due to a deal she made to help Ellen, guy hired to get the tape/kill David/Ellen turns out to be a detective, old-man-lawyer guy brings Ellen to the FBI, and old-man-settlement guy shoots Frobisher for ruining his life.

A lot of stuff went on during this episode. So we found out what everyone pretty much suspected, I am sure, that Patty was the one who set up Ellen to be killed and now we have our season two storyline of Ellen working with the FBI by heading back to work for Patty to bring her down.

And was the stuff with Patty and her dead daughter at birth really needed? It seems to serve no purpose thus far.

Also, when Tom went to the police station to look at the evidence bags for the tape, he took those two rings. He never gave them back to Ellen apparently. What a thief!

This was fun. Though why Patty had to try and kill Ellen no one will ever know .

Also the stuff with Patty and her dead daughter was weird, we never found out why that bastard son of hers was home and was all DON'T TELL NEONE" and if I never have to see this creepy thing where Glenn Close sits by the beach and cries like a crazy person, I'll die a happy man, that shit's scary!

It is scary as she looks like a skeleton and it is just not right!

I praise Ringy for recommending this show to me. Granted I have only watched two eps thus far, but it is a good show. I bet it does not get renewed ever.

Oh, I don't actually keep up with news really, I was just going on what Ringo told me a few weeks ago. He usually reads that stuff.

It was at that point so they were planning season two, but at this point the ratings have been in steady decline so no, it may not get renewed.

FX ordered a second and third season of Damages. Yay!

Hopefully there will still be a season long mystery.

Good start to the season. A lot of stuff already is going on with Ellen vs. Patty, Ellen and this guy from the counseling thing, Patty and guy who has his own problems too. Is good!

And I didn't like that they showed crazy crying skeleton Glenn Close again. It is awful looking.

Odd finale. Kind of ended with an "oh, by the way, Patty knew it all along". What I did like, though, was how Patty was stabbed and that's why her face was all . It was nice to swerve us into thinking she was feeling emotions as opposed to being on the verge of passing out. Also, I get the feeling Ellen will now work for Frobisher.

Will we ever see Wes again? Good finale, though, especially the swerve with Fin Garretty being the one to almost kill Patty.

I think Wes will probably come back, I don't see why not. In fact, maybe he's the guy Ellen is seeing after all!

The only thing about the finale was it felt mega-rushed. They could have spaced out all the stuff over a few eps, especially considering some eps around the middle were kind of lacking in content!

Things just got very interesting! Ellen and Tom were going to start a law firm together, homeless man saw Lenny dump that stuff Thanksgiving night, and the bag full of money that Tom has turns out to be from Lenny which I assume is Tom blackmailing him to get money to help support him in his financial needs!

Also Frobisher is back!

Though the bad news is we got more of the stuff with Michael/Jill. What a horrible storyline.
