Yes! Yes they are! Almost as bad as people who walk around barefoot!
The only time they should be wore is on a beach or in public showers. Period! They are ugly and annoying. There is nothing stylish about these. Whoever started this latest trend of wearing them as everyday wear should be shot. I once broke up with a guy, because he wore flipflops all the time. I've just about broken Nick from wearing them around me at all.
Men in shorts. Maybe in countries where it is warm enough to require short pants this is okay. But it really shouldn't be!
